the Haunted Williamsburg one hour tour and heard some great ghost stories from the past.
The Jamestown Scotland Ferry, then the short drive to Smithfield was a nice experience. Ferry runs 24 hrs and is free. Approx. 20 min. ride. Smithfield was interesting with nice shops and places to dine.

This is the third time we have visited and stayed in Williamsburg. We enjoy the vibe there. I have genealogies from the Jamestown community, and similar interests in Norfolk City, Portsmouth and Newport News.
Williamsburg makes for a nice hub to access all those places, and the hotel prices and amenities there are appreciated. Staying at some of the in-town venues can be quite pricey; the Comfort Suites is a nice example of good value. Dave

Dined at various restaurants where the establishments were very clean and the food was good. Driving around Williamsburg is very easy. We also took a drive down to the ferry to Surry Seafood restaurant. This is a great little restaurant right on the water (river). We continued to Smithfield where we enjoyed the museums and many shops, boutiques. Ice cream parlor near the museum had great ice cream.

Overall, Williamsburg was a beautiful city to visit.
Overall, Williamsburg was a beautiful city to visit. Definitely coming back! Trash and liter always takes away from the overall appearance of a city, community and country. Rarely saw so much trash while visiting overseas. In America 🇺🇸 way too much.

I loved Williamsburg, but then I love history and architecture, art, shopping and good food. I live in Northern Virginia, and the food is pretty dreadful. Everything I ate in Williamsburg was really good--such a nice change.
I enjoyed shopping in Colonial Williamsburg and in New Town. I had a great time, and I'll be back.

The historic city is like our second home.
The historic city is like our second home. We go there at least twice a year. We no longer through the buildings because we've been in each one multiple times, but love walking around the streets. It would be nice for CW to offer a bus pass separate from the admission ticket for a minimal price, just in case you've seen all the buildings but want to get from the visitor center to the town.
Very nice, clean, well-run property. Our room was spacious and comfortable. Friendly and helpful staff. We appreciated the healthy choices at breakfast (not always available at our usual big chain hotels these days). There was instant oatmeal, lite yogurt and fruit among other choices. And the location was great. Convenient to the tourist sites (Williamsburg, Jamestown and Yorktown) and close to the many nice restaurant choices in the area.
I really enjoyed the location of the hotel. It was close to lots of activities in the Williamsburg area ie.. outlet, Busch gardens, eateries, winery and spas. The staff was very attentive and responsive to all request. We visited during the pandemic, but the breakfast accommodations were suitable for that time. Room and all areas of the hotel were clean.
We always stay at the Hotel whenever we travel to Williamsburg. The staff is excellent the room are so clean and comfortable. We couldn't ask for a nicer place to stay. The prices for this time of year were exceptional and even though we had to get a king size room instead of a double our stay was very very pleasent.
Embassy Suites in Williamsburg is a great location with a quick drive to the Colonial Williamsburg Visitors Center and within 10-15min walk of several restaurants. The staff here is fantastic: helpful and friendly. The hotel is clean and comfortable and the breakfast is very good. Highly recommend this place.
the hotel was basic... the staff were nice and accommodating. The rooms were nice, beds comfortable. the pool was fun, The breakfasts were nice a filling.. the lady who ran the breakfast was THE BEST!!!! Close to Busch Gardens and the Water Park and also Colonial Williamsburg.
The room was spacious enough for our family of 3. Comfortable beds and our room was nice and clean. Hotel was in the perfect location close to stores, shops, restaurants, and entertainment. I am a smoker so this hotel gave the option of a smoking room, which was great for me.
Room was comfortable and clean. The location of the hotel was close to historic Williamsburg and to several other restaurants and shopping. Hotel was popular with families with young children, however, we did not hear any noises after dark. Overall quiet and nice hotel.
It was a beautiful hotel close to Colonial Williamsburg and Busch Gardens, the reasons for our stay. The staff was very friendly and helpful. They let us know up front if we needed any housekeeping done to let the staff know. Everything was great.
The location is perfect for visiting Colonial Williamsburg and Busch Gardens. Conveniently located near all the major roads connecting to important areas. Ample parking. Breakfast is the standard hotel fare but gets the job done.
The room was very spacious and the bed was comfortable. My husband and I always choose this hotel when we book a hotel in Williamsburg. I would recommend this hotel 1000 times to my family and friends.
Stunning rooms,
Even better than the photos.
Very comfortable beds and the fold out bed was even comfortable.
Only 15 min to Williamsburg colonial village but would be longer in summer with traffic.
Great location, within walking distance (10 minutes) of Historic Williamsburg and its attractions. Spacious room. Quiet in the night. The concierge of the other hotel - very helpful and knowledgeable.
Room was dirty not vacuumed, door was broken, TV didn't work switched rooms then left to another hotel the next morning as we arrived late and was to tired to pack up and leave again.
This hotel was amazing. It was newly renovated and they did such a good job. It was so clean and the staff was wonderful. I give them an A+ for everything.
