Biked from Vallejo to Yountville to Napa. It's always so much fun and beautiful. The deep jacuzzi tub at Napa Valley Hotel was icing on the cake. The bed swallowed me up and was so comfortable. Ad Hoc is my favorite Thomas Keller restaurant. Get their cookbook. I can actually cook these recipes.

The Napa Valley is just beautiful place to be.
The Napa Valley is just beautiful place to be. It is best to visit during the week as the traffic can be very bad during the weekend. Also, avoid Napa during the harvest. To get around the valley use the Silverado Trail Road and not the main road. If you want to visit wineries, be sure to have reservations. We ate at Mustards Grill. As always, the food was excellent, but you must have reservations as the Grill is very popular. It is very noisy. Best time to have lunch is after 1:30.

We have been wine tasting to Napa for more than 20 years.
We have been wine tasting to Napa for more than 20 years. This trip was a disappointment because you now have to reserve in advance for wine tasting at a winery and they charge enormous price per person, the cheapest was $40 and it went to $85 per person. We understand that all the tastings are now seated since the after-pandemic and this has some plus and minuses. First it is too expensive to go wine tasting in Napa and second it takes a lot more time for a tasting than if you'd stand up at the bar. We might never go back to Napa. It is so sad but the scenery is as beautiful as it has always been.

It's always great to be back in Napa our favorite restaurants morimoto's outdid themselves this time our favorite taco truck in Calistoga was worth the wait if it wasn't for covid we would have been back sooner.
This is probably the best hotel I’ve ever stayed in. The house itself is magnificent, the attention to detail and the interiors are divine. The bed was dreamy and the wine was flowing. The hosts are incredible, super inviting, warm and fun! You can play the piano, guitar, sit around the kitchen island as if you’re visiting an old friend. A true home away from home, thanks so much for the hospitality! Will definitely stay here again when I come back.
The 1801 First Luxury Inn exceeded my expectations in every way. The house is a beautiful historic Victorian house that had endless character and charm. The staff was so sweet, the breakfast delicious (homemade croissants!), and it was super close to downtown Napa. The rooms were spacious, lovely, comfortable, and welcoming. I would stay here again, no questions about it!.
We booked this hotel as it was walking distance to bottlerock festival, as such we essentially paid luxury hotel prices for a hotel that usually cost considerably less. But that's bottlerock every hotel in the area was the same. The hotel was basic but fine. Staff were very friendly and gave us early check in which was much appreciated.
Simple, comfortable and cheap stay to explore Napa Valley. It offers ample free parking. There are several franchise restaurants in the shopping center across the street, and the city center is not far away, where there are other more elaborate local restaurants.
We visited Castillo di Amorosa and Domaine Carneros, both fantastic.
We stayed for one night only and the hotel served its purpose. It is located outside of Napa centre, but with good access to highways. We liked the breakfast which as for american standards was ok, but of course nothing even close to any other part of the world. Our room was clean and rather spacious, lot of parking space.
Overall the room was nice, we paid extra to get the king suite. The shower was nice, but the tub was just a regular tub. The hotel patio area with the pool and hot tub were nice, and the fireplace area was nice, but there were not enough seating areas around it. Walking distance to the expo and downtown Napa is great.
We stayed at The George last year, a few months after it opened and we were so pleased with the excellence in every way. After getting our tickets for Napa Valley Jazz Festival in August, 2022, we booked right after in early fall to stay at the hotel again. See below for what went wrong!
Breakfast is still good!
The front desk staff were great upon check-in. The hotel seemed quiet enough. The hotel is only about a 15 minute drive from downtown Napa and was a great touch point for our weekend there. The room was clean and comfortable. The breakfast options were plentiful and satisfying.
Breakfast: The best Muesli we ever had - and every day a new breakfast nicely decorated.
Location: Perfect - within walking distance to the waterfront (downtown) of Napa
Room: Spacious room in a historical building - Just great
Our favorite hotel ever!! Incredibly clean, modern, and fun. Toilet has a bidet/ adjustable bed/ comes with a free bottle of wine/ walking distance to downtown Napa/ parking on-sight/ free snacks… what more could you want??
Parking was easy. Great communication and local suggestions from our host. Location to downtown Napa very walkable. Rooms were super comfy and spacious. Breakfast in the morning checked all the boxes! Delightful stay :)
Close to downtown Napa and situated on a lovely street. Comfy bed and welcome bottle of wine. The breakfasts were outstanding! The breakfast chef was very good and we were impressed with the quality of the food.
Location is right off the freeway and close to downtown Napa for restaurants/dining. Room was very clean and reception was nice. The price of the hotel was very reasonable for the area and accomodation.
One of the best hotels I have stayed at on my entire 6 week US trip. So well laid out and appointed and has many gorgeous areas to sit around inside or outside. Very friendly and helpful staff as well.
It's a beautiful hotel in a beautiful location (just north of downtown Napa) with a lovely view of the vineyard. Everything was top-notch and exceeded our expectations. The breakfast was AMAZING!
Love that the hotel is so peaceful. The room is really nice, clean, and big. The breakfast with mimosas is the best. Would recommend that place to my friends.
