We Check-in at midnight but the staff were simply amazing and helpful, we reached the room in a minute. Breakfast is one of the best of best. (Dont miss the masala dosa and the cafe latte). All the staffs were so friendly and we felt like a family ;)

I stayed in the dorm, which was quite cheap and therefore it exceeded my expextations - it was comfortable, cleaned regularly, there was a common are and they even provided kitchen utensils to cook my own food! :) Speaking of food, there is some available made one of the staff and what I had was delicious (mainly pancakes :9)! The staff is the main thing that made my stay a very pleasant experience - super helpful, friendly and accomodating. :) I definitely recommend this place.

Boasting a restaurant, Gully Ghar is situated in Varanasi in the Uttar Pradesh region, 300 metres from Assi Ghat and 1.3 km from Harishchandra Ghat. This hotel really met all our needs. The staff was friendly and helpful. We asked them lots of questions and they had good answers. The hotel is hidden between alleys which cars can't go (this is characteristic of Varanasi and part of its charm) but you can call the staff to walk you to the hotel from your taxi when you arrive. The staff also walked us to our car to leave for the airport. We also liked that the there was laundry service. The location is very close to the sights we wanted to see and we able to walk to almost everything. We enjoyed the breakfast that was served. The room was clean and the bathroom was large enough to not feel cramped. There was also a working shower head and toilet paper (which if you are familiar with India, is not necessarily common). The AC was very effective and kept us cool after the hot day. Overall, we were very comfortable here. Would definitely stay again.

Taj Mahal view from room was unique. during the night the silhouette is very clear. congratulations to the staff!
