The rooftop bar was great with views of the beach, boardwalk and pier. The bar tender called Brook was so friendly, lots of fun, very chatty and with the most excellent of customer service skills, we were really glad to meet him. The hotel has a great art-deco theme and seemingly a lot of history. Our room was big and really nice, with a great view. It was clean and comfy and had all we needed. We only had a very short stop over in Atlantic City before heading to NYC early next morning so we didnt have time to use any of the other facilities but we did look at the pool area which looked really nice and had our stay have been longer we would have used it.

I love the location right across from Hard Rock Cafe

I was only there for a short stay but the beach looked clean and wasn't that busy. However, we were there before what I would consider the busy season. The boardwalk was clean, had plenty of shops to check out places to eat.

This was our first time to Atlantic City.
This was our first time to Atlantic City. There area huge assortment of places to stay. We stayed at Harrah's. In the future I would do more research to find a hotel that offered nightly entertainment in house or at least in close proximity to where I was staying. Also a better variety of cheaper food options available that are open on a daily basis. Although we had a clean comfortable room I would not return to Harrah's because of the limited eating options there. I will probably stay somewhere on the Boardwalk area.

Well the weather at times wasn't so good. Yet the Boardwalk Tram was working. They're won't accept cash, only credit or Debit Cards. Found a new Boardwalk restaurant called Celebrity Corners. Excellent prices on meals, plus they serve alcohol.

Not a huge gambler but loved the outlets n shops as well as the dining options I've been personally going there since I was 10 yrs old with my grandfather did alot of walking then n eating but always a good time
So I guess the Hotel is a bit older, Our floor had a really bad smell, We went into the pool and it was nasty, The sides need to be cleaned, Looking up through the glass roof you see filthy windows & glass ripped "SHREDDED" Screens that looked totally cheap. The reastaurant was ok I guess the bill was the Highest bill we have ever paid & we had to send the steak back to be recooked. Sorry it was pretty Bad.
We always stay in this hotel, when we go to Atlantic City, the location could not be better. This time I paid for an upgrade so that we would have a room with a beach view. It was a cute room at the corner of the building with windows on two sides, it was really worth it.
We also had dinner at The Twenties Italian Restaurant, which was very pleasant. We liked the food and the service.
The view was beautiful!! I have stayed in many hotels in Atlantic City and my opinion is they have the best view!!! Night view is great!!
Huge balcony! Boardwalk right in front with georgous views of brigantine while u sit in Adirondack chairs. The ocean casino is a 10 min walk. The wide sliding glass door and extended glass wall to wall.
The room and rug were clean.
It was my first time visiting Atlantic City so I pick Showboat Hotel for the main reason they are Pet friendly and also the location it’s really convenient but the premises needs an update (bed, carpets, doors, elevators furnitures and more). The cleaning service staff they were friendly awesome but the front desk needs more training and also answer the phone.
Great value basic hotel, very close to the boardwalk.
Staff friendly, helpful and very accommodating. Rooms good size, decor tired but functional. Best coffee maker in our ‘touring’ holiday. The breakfasts are included and fab - self serve waffle station was amazing, had as much as we liked. Hotel few mins walk to boardwalk. Great 7-11 shop very close.
Perfect location, situated right on the boardwalk. A 10 min walk from the Hard Rock Hotel and casino, and Steel pier.
Our room was exceptionally spacious with a kitchenette and jet tub. Gorgeous view of the beach and Ferris wheel from our room.
Room could do with some modernisation as is quite outdated but still great value for money
The hotel is very glamorous. Our room was huge! The furnishings were very upscale and comfortable. Loved the bathroom being located in a separate space away from the bedroom area. Very restful and the view of the Atlantic City strip was gorgeous. The staff was exceptionally friendly and professional. We will be back.
Its physique better than any hotel in Atlantic City. I like the bed and the waterfront view. The bed is comfy. They gave us complimentary parking. Fine dining restaurants are available on site. Its a plus why I choose this property to check-in as well as the Spa services but its closed at the moment.
Location was great, right by the boardwalk and beach. Nice to have parking there and the beds were comfortable. It was clean enough. Managers and maids were kind. It’s good for a weekend but I would never come to Atlantic City again because the area overall is bad (not the hotels fault)
I love everything about this hotel this will be my go to from now on whenever I come back to Atlantic City I will definitely be staying here. I have also told everyone I know about this hotel and how amazing this place is.
The location is great. Right next to the Tropicana and a short walk to the beach. Best thing about the place. The staff was nice. Beds weren't bad. The price was good. Cheap. You get what you pay for.
The hotel was in walking distant of the promenade and casinos. There was on site parking available at a charge which was good as other public parking in the area was difficult.
I liked that it was on the beach/ boardwalk and had Italian themed Activies. I liked that it was clean and that had fun restaurants attached to it. Would stay again.
Hotel very close to the beach, 1 block from the boardwalk. Rooms clean, well equipped. Don't be fooled by the outside appearance of the hotel.
Tasty breakfast.
