Can't wait to visit Vienna again. If you can stay 7+ days, I recommend to do it, Vienna has so many things to offer. Vienna is a beautiful city with lots of culture and character. There is a lot to see in this single city and transportation is very smooth. I would definitely recommend visiting and it is ideal for short stays of 2-3 days. Vienna has so much history and is such an easy city to navigate! There are many different neighborhoods and areas to discover. Transit passes are good across trams, trains and buses so you feel limitless in your adventure. Food was really good. Lots of places to have traditional schnitzel but also a donor kebap spot on practically every block. While there were very few free museums and tours, I found that exploring the architecture and finding an amazing historical sculpture about every 25 yards more than made up for it.
